There is currently an opportunity with a National contractor that is seeking a full-time experienced Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will work on a diverse range of public, government and commercial projects with clients that include Military, school districts, universities, and airports, throughout the U.S.

 

Responsibilities:

·                                 Will be bidding on new projects

·                                 Prepares quantity take-offs and estimates on various projects.

·                                 Develops relationships with sub-contractors, and identifies new subcontractors to meet the construction needs of the company.

·                                 Coordinates bids and obtains and analyzes bids on projects from subcontractors.

·                                 Prepares accurate pricing of estimates, including labor, material and subcontract items.

·                                 Will be working 100% out of the office in Longview WA, but attending job walks for bidding purposes

·                                 work on multiple projects including modernization and new construction, design build etc

 

Qualifications:

·                                 Self-motivated

·                                 5 Years Minimum Experience working with a GC

·                                 Strong communication skills

·                                 Strong Computer Skills (Knowledge of Estimating Software such as Pulsar a plus); Should know Excel .

·                                 Construction related Bachelor Degree preferred

 Be able to carry through with responsibilities until completion; able to juggle several assignments at once
